Beon Named to FreightWaves’ 2027 FreightTech100

Atlanta, GA – Beon and its operating companies, Transportation Insight (TI) and Nolan Transportation Group (NTG), have won a spot on the 2027 FreightTech100, FreightWaves’ annual recognition of the 100 most innovative companies across freight and supply chain technology.

The 2027 group marks the eighth year of the FreightTech Awards, and this year’s program drew a record number of nominations. For the FreightTech100, the FreightWaves research team reviews every submission and evaluates it on documented innovation, market impact, and how a company’s ideas have evolved from the previous year.

More than half of the companies on the 2027 list did not appear on the 2026 FreightTech100, a reflection of how quickly the freight technology landscape is changing. The list spans transportation management and visibility, fleet and telematics, artificial intelligence, automation and autonomous trucking, and includes a mix of large transportation and logistics companies, technology providers and startups.

For Beon, the recognition reflects the fundamental shift both entities underwent over the past twelve months, going from AI as a static or experimental layer to AI as an active, always-on participant in daily operations. AI now initiates work rather than waiting to be asked and does so with enough transparency and domain fluency that both customers and internal teams have come to trust and rely on it as part of how the businesses run.

The FreightTech100 now becomes the pool from which the FreightTech25 is selected. An independent panel of more than 80 industry executives will rank the 100 companies, with voting independently overseen by accounting firm Henderson, Hutcherson & McCullough. The FreightTech25 will be revealed live at the inaugural F3 Awards Dinner on Monday, October 26, 2026 at The Signal in Chattanooga, Tennessee, which will honor the entire FreightTech100 alongside the 2027 Shipper of Choice Awards.
