Tricky peak season for retailers as consumers tighten the purse strings

The Loadstar supply chain news site asked Transportation Insight’s Chief Strategy Officer, John Haber, for perspective on this year’s peak season. John expects stores to aggressively promote buying goods online and picking them up at a store.  

For maximum logistics resilience and flexibility, John recommends retailers improve their data flow and visibility tools. His fellow supply chain executives agree. This is important year-round. But it pays huge dividends during peak season.
